ENS Welcomes New Faculty and Staff

Welcome to Dr. Jennifer Temple. She is a Research Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at UB currently, but she will join our department as an Assistant Professor in August.

Welcome to postdoctoral fellow Min Han, MD PhD.  Min arrived in April from the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.  She is studying inflammatory mechanisms in endothelial cells with Drs. Wilson and Wu.

Barbara Frackiewicz took up a Keyboard Specialist appointment in our department on February 28, 2008.  Please stop by the main office in 211A Kimball and introduce yourself to Barbara at your convenience.  We are very happy to have her join ENS!

New Associate Director for the Dietetic Internship Program

Elizabeth (Liz) Raleigh is the new Associate Director for the Dietetic Internship in the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Science.  She officially started on January 14, 2008.  Liz, a Registered Dietitian, received her B.S. in Human Nutrition and Foods from Cornell University and a M.S. in Nutrition from Cornell as well.  She has been an Assistant Professor of Dietetics at both Buffalo State College and D’Youville College.  She has 30 years of varied and very worthy dietetic experience and an outstanding track record of working with students.  We are very pleased to have her join the dietetic internship faculty.
